Is it just me, or is it that the name anime (pronounced AH-NEE-MEH) sinking? I remember when DBZ came out around the early 2000's late 90's, and everyone suddenly well in love with all things Japanese. What's happened? Now even the word 'anime' itself is being mocked. I kept asking myself what went wrong. Is it all of the weird nerds that make all of their references to some unknown anime? Or the weird goth chic who mumbles to her so called "friends" the Akatsuki who only exist in the anime/manga called "Naruto"? Then I say to myself, yes. It is the over excited anime lovers that have killed the once universally known name of anime. Sure, everyone once loved anime, and sure everyone talked about it, but it was the people who did not know how to deal with their love for anime that destroyed the name. Yes, you, the 一ne that wears the Ryuuk costume to school. And you too, the 一ne with the Naruto headband on. You have now helped create the stereo-type that everyone that anyone who likes anime is a freak. But as I often say about things that people have messed up, it's normally reversable. So do your part and don't be a freak.
Please.
